Note from the President :
Respected Alumni of L.A.U.C.,
I am Sarthak Vij, the President of the 45th Assembly of the Liberal Arts Undergraduate Council. By means of this letter, I wanted to reach out to you to learn from your experience with the Liberal Arts Undergraduate Council. Having served on the council since my freshman year, I have seen the organization transform drastically. As the President of the council, I realized that our connection with our beloved Alumni was lost in the process of transformation.
The Liberal Arts Undergraduate Council has a heritage of over 45 years and it wouldn’t have been possible without the presence of our beloved alumni members like you and several others. A history of 45 years provides us with a ground for trust in the future of the council. According to us, it would be in our best interest to reconnect to the Alumni of the council, with our interest being learning from your experience.
The history of 45 years presents us with a challenge. It is a huge pool of Alumni to reconnect and hence, the task becomes to big for our council to do. In order to achieve our objective of re-connecting, we will be taking two steps -

The history of 45 years presents us with a challenge. It is a huge pool of Alumni to reconnect and hence, the task becomes to big for our council to do. In order to achieve our objective of re-connecting, we will be taking two steps -
- Reaching out to previous presidents through references obtained from Presidents that followed them.
- In this process, we will be able to reconnect with the members of the respective council, if the then-president is in contact with the members.
- Reaching out to our members, current and former, through channels of social media, to reach out to the Alumni of
the council.- This process will be more difficult to perform since it involves references and voluntary outreach actions through our members.
